- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, enviroment and health requirements and locally applicable regulations
- set safety priorities, metrics, target and requirements
- Provide safety & environment operation for company in manufacturing operations
- Instill and foster proactive safety-conscious culture and drive operational ownership of working environment, health & safety programs through all levels of the organization.
- Develop and implement the program to comply with JFE Shoji requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Manage environmetal related matters associated with business operations including air, water, waste and chemical/materials management issues
- Conduct safety training and presentations on various topics within scope of responsibility.
- Perform safety audits/inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are developed and emplemented on a timely basic.
- Lead and/or participate in incident investigations and ensure appropriate root caused are identified and corrective actions are developed/implemented
- Evaluate safety risks and challenges and develop appropriate risk reduction strategies
- Establish SOP instruction and training to related person
- Work closely with team to develop and implement functional safety programs and strategies
- Maintain safety and health records and documents required by JFE Shoji and applicable regulatory requirements
- Additional tasks, as required from management.
